In this groundbreaking fashion project, the principle of "Recycling" takes center stage. My work explores environmental sustainability and social issues, using the invaluable resource of water as an influential metaphor. The narrative I've crafted intertwines the contamination of water bodies due to plastic and chemical pollution and the prevailing societal prejudices against girls.

My commitment to the concept of recycling extends beyond the creation of garments. I have personally handcrafted jewellery using repurposed materials, such as plaster of Paris, then embroidered with polythene bags on the garment. Furthermore, I have transformed used plastic bottles into stunning floral accessories, symbolizing the potential of transformation and underscoring the importance of recycling.

A grim but vital influence to the project is the Nirbhaya case in 2012 Delhi. This tragic incident, likened to polluted water in my project, serves as a painful reminder of the societal injustice and toxic mindset towards girls that persist in society.

The project's centerpiece is a showstopper garment that embodies the purity and transparency of fresh water. It's a symbolic representation of the innate dignity every girl deserves and is a poignant call to action to cleanse society's prejudices, similar to purifying polluted water.

This initiative is not merely a fashion endeavor but a platform for social and environmental commentary and transformation. It's a call to foster respect, equality, and environmental consciousness, propelling society towards a future where both girls and water are treated with the respect they merit.
